About Me

Hello! I’m Sheila

Artist & Tutor,  Singer & Harpist

About Sheila Moylan Artist

I moved to London from Ireland in 1987 to study art. I went to U.E.L. where I focused on body casting and self portraiture graduating in 1995 with a B.A. (Hons) Fine Art Sculpture and Psychology. Since graduation I trained as a youth worker and worked in a variety of settings supporting young people for most of my career at one point running an alternative programme to GCSE in Richmond making art the main subject. Since 2015 I have been self employed working within Ealing, running art classes for adults with or without learning disabilities for local charities and have run popular courses in drawing for adults and children both online and in person.

My work has been exhibited as part of many group shows in West London. In 2018 I exhibited my “Office Ghosts” series of sculptures as part of Hammersmith Arts Festival and in 2020 exhibited a piece in their virtual show.

I’m also a musician, harpist and singer/songwriter performing at small venues and music festivals in and around London.
